Final Score: Philippines 63 - Qatar 79. Behind a streaky shooting performance from Y. Mohammed and A. Saeed, Qatar drained 3 pointer after 3 pointer to beat the Philippines into submission.
Good effort by Marcus Douthit who played through an ankle injury. An energetic Gary David provided support but it just wasn't enough to overcome Gilas' shooting woes making just 2/17 from three point land.
When you miss that many three pointers, it leads to multiple fast break opportunities for the opponent. Couple that with a hot shooting display for Qatar and you have a blowout.
