People are ready to cheer for their candidate. Some are raising glowsticks, others are waving gold pom-poms. -
The event is about to start. Stella Araneta seen taking her spot at the judges' table. -
Tension rising inside the Araneta Coliseum. Groups of people are shouting out "Bulacan! Bulacan!" - proof that it's also a battle of provinces. Each province cheering their girl on.

All judges are now seated. Looks like the program is about to start in a few.

Opening video plays. It's a video montage of the past 50 years. It is after all the golden anniversary of the pageant. Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran winning videos are shown. Crowd cheers loudly when Venus Raj's "Major, Major" clip is shown. And also clips from Janine Tugonon's Miss Universe 2012 win.

The event is officially dubbed "Bb Pilipinas Gold". Martin Nivera opens the show sings the Bb. Pilipinas theme song. He is joined by Bb Pilipinas titleholders past and present.
